Hi, I'm Idris 👋
Product engineer with over four years’ experience, three of them in Sydney. I built the billing that took EdisonOS to its first paying institutions, and I lead the team of three that builds it.
About
I have a Bachelor of Advanced Computing (Honours) from ANU and over four years as an engineer. Three of them were in Sydney with Cognizant Servian, 2021 to 2024: customer-remediation automation for Westpac, MLOps logging on GCP for The Iconic, and GenAI/RAG proof-of-concept pipelines with hallucination detection and content moderation. I’m at TeachEdison in Coimbatore now, building EdisonOS — an assessment platform for high-stakes exam prep, from the Digital SAT and ACT to the PSAT, SHSAT and AP. I chose the architecture, wired up the Stripe billing that schools and coaching centres buy on, and I’m the one who deploys it. Outside work I fly drones and train calisthenics.

Mountire
Order-to-production system for a manufacturing business. Accepted orders become individually trackable units that move through a routing graph of production stages, and drop into an inspection → scrap-or-rework → NCR/CAPA chain when one fails. The public site takes RFQ leads, uploads held in private S3 quarantine until AWS GuardDuty clears them.
